I feel like I have lived 1000 lives, and this is because from a younger age than most, I realised that life is a constant cycle of births and deaths. I experienced the death of a boy friend when I was just 26, and my life was transformed and a new me was birthed. Through the process of grieving and healing I realised that childhood trauma had created within me survival mechanisms, that limited my value and the extent to which I could dream. As a way of protecting my vulnerabilities I studied subjects and picked professions dominated by logic and scientific thinking. All of these layers gave birth to the person I am today.
I was shaped by the past, but instead of being defined by it, I am taking full advantage of the gifts I have received.
