I experienced the death of a boy friend when I was just 26, and my life was transformed and a new me was birthed. Through the process of grieving and healing I realised that childhood trauma had created within me survival mechanisms, that limited my value and the extent to which I could dream. As a way of protecting my vulnerabilities I studied subjects and picked professions dominated by logic and scientific thinking.
